Safety is Key during Graduation, Summer Festivities
MONTGOMERY -- Another school year is drawing to a close, and the member agencies of the Alabama’s Integrated State Law Enforcement Task Force remind everyone -- particularly parents and their graduating high school seniors and other teens -- to add safety to any celebration plans at home, at a nearby venue or at the beach or other vacation destinations.

Governor Bentley Announces Creation of Formal Incident Response & Prevention Plan
MONTGOMERY – Governor Robert Bentley on Wednesday announced the creation of a strategic plan for preventing and responding to active shooter events at various types of facilities. The plan was compiled by Secretary of Law Enforcement and Alabama Department of Homeland Security Director Spencer Collier. Collier compiled the plan at the direction of Governor Bentley and delivered the plan to the Governor.
